If you are installing iDub on a system using macOS version 10.14.2 or earlier, you must install an additional audio driver by right-clicking on iDub Driver Installer and clicking Open in the context menu. 💡 Audio drivers will be installed automatically for later versions of macOS.

If ‘Count Off’ is enabled in Pro Tools’s MIDI Controls, it may cause the status of recorded clips to be stuck on ‘Recording’. Disable the option to ensure that the status is updated properly.

If Pro Tools performance is hindered significantly disable ‘Minimize Additional I/O Latency’ option from Setup > Playback Engine.

If there is an audio playback issue and no sound is heard from Pro Tools, open up Setup > Playback Engine and select ‘Pro Tools Aggregate I/O’ as the playback engine.
